Elevation Certificates
Contact Us
Flood damage can be expensive, that's why Parishes participating in the FEMA Flood Insurance Program require new structures in a floodplain to have elevation certificates. If you're building in a floodplain you will want to make sure your project is elevated at least 1" above the projected flood elevations. Not only does this reduce the cost of flood insurance, it reduces your chances of dealing with the devastating effects of a flood.
An Elevation Certificate is used to certify the finished floor elevation of your home or shop. Call us before you build and we can set a finished floor elevation prior to construction and certify that elevation after construction.
